WASTEWATER ADVISORY COMMITTEE
MINUTES
MEETING 8/07/02
Meeting was called to order at 4:35pm.
Members present: Bev Robbins, Charlie Batchelder, Dewey Grey, guest Patrick Munzing, Superintendent Chuck Applebee, and City Manager Jeff Kobrock.
Charlie called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m. The committee began discussion of the firms by criteria used in the selection process. Charlie asked Chuck if he would repeat the selection criteria to everyone. The committee began review each firm by the selection criteria.
Rick Nickless arrives at 4:39pm.
The merits of each Firm were determined and ranked using the selection criteria outlined in the Request for Proposal. The committee unanimously chose to select Woodward & Curran and Wright-Pierce for interviews. The committee scored the Firms as follows:
Wright-Pierce 96%
Woodward & Curran 93%
Earthtech 85%
RK&K 63%
Charlie asked Jeff about the possible dates for the interview and when the committee could present their nomination to the City council.
The interview dates were discussed amongst the committee and it was decided that the interview would take place on August 21, 2002, at 4:00 p.m. Both firms will present on that Wednesday, with Woodward & Curran presenting at 4:00p.m. followed by Wright-Pierce at 6:00p.m. A decision will be rendered that night.
The selected firm will be recommended to the city council meeting on the 5th of September.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:02 p.m.
