Dimensional Requirements Variance-Public Hearing-. Johnson Hall is requesting a variance to the floodplain ordinance requirements as part of a major interior renovation to the building. Due to being on the national historic register, flood proofing Johnson Hall would be damaging to the historic fabric of the building. Johnson Hall will be taking steps to reduce their exposure to flood damage including removing mechanical equipment in the basement, raising electrical panels above the 100 year flood elevations, installing flood resistant materials and installing sewer shut off valve at 280 Water St. .City Tax Map 034  Lot  110
