Downtown Sidewalk Committee
The Downtown Sidewalk committee will provide input and insights into the replacement of the sidewalks in the historic downtown and provide recommendations on downtown sidewalk improvements to the City Council. The work group will be an ad hoc group that will serve the duration of the project funded by Maine Department of Transportation.
The group will consist of 8 members including one downtown resident, one downtown business owner, one city councilor, the Gardiner Main Street Director, the Economic and Community Development Director, three at-large members.
The group will meet for two years and have a professional facilitator to guide the meetings.
