Posted Roads - Weight Restrictions Enforced

Effective today, February 14, 2024 the City of Gardiner has posted roads and will be enforcing weight restrictions on the following:

  • Lincoln St
  • Andrews St
  • Marston Rd
  • Cannard St
  • Mattson Heights
  • Capen Rd
  • Mt. Vernon Ave
  • Central St
  • Old Brunswick Rd
  • Cherry St
  • Plaisted St
  • Commonwealth St
  • Sherburne Ave
  • Costello Rd
  • Spring St
  • Cottage St
  • Washington St
  • Dresden Ave
  • Weeks St
  • Griffin St
  • West Hill Rd
  • Harrison Ave
  • West St
  • High Holborn St
  • Willow St
  • Hillcrest St
  • Winter St
  • Libby Hill Road

The City of Gardiner's Road Posting Ordinance purpose is to prevent damage to city ways and bridges in the City of Gardiner which may be caused by vehicles of excessive weight, to lessen safety hazards and the risk of injury to the traveling public, to extend the life expectany of city ways and bridges, and to reduce the public expense of their maintenance and repair.
